Chargebacks & Holdbacks

To protect creators and ensure a secure transaction system, ASMR Stars® has policies in place for chargebacks and holdbacks, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.

Chargebacks

A chargeback occurs when a user disputes a payment through their bank or payment provider. In such cases:

• The disputed amount is temporarily deducted from the creator’s earnings until the issue is resolved.
• If the chargeback is successful, the funds are permanently removed, and the creator will not receive payment for that transaction.
• If the dispute is rejected, the withheld amount is returned to the creator.
• Repeated chargebacks may lead to account reviews or restrictions.

Holdbacks

To prevent fraud and ensure smooth payment processing, ASMR Stars® may place a temporary hold on earnings in certain situations, such as:

• Unusual or suspicious payment activity.
• A high number of refunds or chargebacks.
• Compliance checks required by payment processors.

Holdbacks are typically released after a set period once the transaction is verified and no disputes arise.

Creators can monitor chargebacks and holdbacks in their Earnings section and are encouraged to maintain transparent interactions with fans to reduce disputes.
